Bengawan Solo Travel Mart (BTM) 2012


SOLO, ITM-Solo Travel Mart (BTM) in 2012 to be held on 28 April to 1 May 2012 will expand the market buyer, by inviting more of the organizers of the Meeting, Incentive, Conference, Exhibition (MICE), so it is not always dominated travel agent.

The MICE stakeholders that include the organizer, corporate, association, banking, and medical community, pharmaceutical, insurance, consulting, automotive, both from within and outside the country.

According to the Chairman of the Committee BTM-11, who is also vice chairman of Asita Solo, Solo Daryono on Tuesday (20/3), they are aiming for MICE as the average hotel occupancy in Solo dominated by MICE guests, that is up to 80 percent. Solo Daryono revealed superiority of the MICE is a convenient and inexpensive. Not only that, by strengthening MICE, certainly had a positive impact on other sectors.

Plus, there are data that refer to almost any association or agency has the funds to the range of 15 percent MICE.

For now buyers are invited to 80 buyers, 50 percent of whom are among the travel agent, the remaining agencies and associations. Buyer of the travel agents dominated the domestic buyer, while a small portion comes from abroad, such as China, Singapore and Malaysia.
